A Prayer for Minnesota

written by Rev. David Alexander

Sometimes, we don’t exactly have the words to convey our hope amidst the turmoil and heartbreak, that’s when we use the words of those who stand with us…

“I know that Love is not passive.

Love organizes.

Love resists harm.

Love stands in bitter cold and does not retreat.

I do not hope that Love will win.

I know it is winning— in every act of solidarity,

every refusal to look away,

every body that stands in the gap for another.”

From A Prayer for Minnesota by Rev. David Alexander

Thank you Rev. David.
